GNIM has undertaken many initiatives to undertake research studies at the institute. The faculty undertake research in the areas of management and computer science. Many articles and research paper written by our faculty members are published in domestic and international publications. Our faculty members have also presented their research papers at academic conferences.

Research Centre for Finance

The institute is in the process of establishing a “Research Centre for Finance”. The centre will undertake serious research in subject areas of contemporary financial. The centre has cutting edge tools like “Prowess”, the CMIE database, India Stat and Minitab. CMIE is a industry leader and provides data on Indian economy and more than 10,000 Indian companies, both big and small. India Stat provides socio-economic  data on sectors of the economy, labour market etc. The centre will use Mini Tab which is an advanced tool used for mathematical modelling and analysis.

The centre will undertake research projects in areas of financial modelling, financial economics, valuation etc. Students of the college will also be involved in the shorter duration projects.

Journal of Management and Information Technology (JMIT)

With the aim of turning it in to one of the leading research institutes of India, GNIM has started publishing “Journal of Management and Information Technology’ (JMIT) (ISSN No 0975-5187).  The objective of the Journal is to encourage researchers from various Universities and technical institutions / colleges to take up research, & inspire new researchers who may like to enter different research areas.  The submissions are referred to maintain the research standards. This effort envisages eliminating isolation, discouraging redundancy and promoting scientific and research based knowledge aimed to accelerate overall growth. GNIM’s attempt is to make the Journal, a research based academic journal. It would provide a forum for academicians as well as practitioners to put forth their thoughts and experiences and research findings and encourage interactions through the print midea. The Journal published would cover all contemporary, functional & inter disciplinary areas of Management and IT.
